My wife has gum drop nipples and when completely opened these were less than a third the width of her nipples. They probably would have trouble fitting on a pencil's eraser although honestly I haven't tested that. I also pinched some skin and tried these on her to gauge the tension and the springs are just too strong. They didn't bruise but were immediately uncomfortable.
